Supported by amazing volunteer committees, our signature events raise over $1 million each fiscal year. All funds raised directly support the Professional Student Bursary Program which allows students to pursue their dreams regardless of their family’s financial means.
Gala
Annually in February
Canada's National Ballet School hosts an annual fundraising Gala to highlight the budding talent emerging at NBS, the beauty of dance, the determination required to become a professional dancer, and the School as one of Canada's leading arts training institutions.
Golf Classic
Annually in June or July
Now in its 16th year, the annual Golf Classic in support of Canada's National Ballet School (NBS) remains one of the most significant fundraising events for the country's most important classical dance training academy. The 2012 Golf Classic on June 18th provides an exceptional opportunity to play the exclusive and prestigious Coppinwood course, a golfer's paradise located on 357 acres of rolling terrain with stunning elevation changes, in the midst of quiet farm country 30 minutes northeast of Toronto.
