Currie Hall

Formerly known as the Quaker Meeting House (1911) and the founding location of Canada's National Ballet School in 1959, Currie Hall is an integral part of the Maitland Street heritage streetscape.

Transformed as part of Stage II of the capital campaign, Currie Hall is a space where students can dine together and enjoy the "home away from home" atmosphere reflected throughout the residence complex. This prominent building anchors the residence complex and was carefully restored to its original beauty and updated with modern facilities to support the lives of a dynamic student body.

Adjustable lighting, a fully restored wood dance floor and state-of-the-art kitchen also make Currie Hall unique for social or corporate events.

For additional available equipment and services, please review our Facilities Rentals information package, or contact or 416-964-3780 x1771 or 1-800-387-0785.
